Following a routine inspection, FMViDE identified damage to the suspended ceilings within both the male and female back-of-house toilet areas. Cracked ceiling tiles, displaced panels, and damaged light covers were affecting both presentation and functionality.
Although these were back-of-house spaces, they remain an important part of the daily working environment and needed to be kept safe, clean, and presentable for staff use.
To avoid any disruption to store operations, our team scheduled the works during the early morning hours before opening. Damaged ceiling tiles were carefully removed, the ceiling grid was checked and adjusted where required, and new matching tiles were installed. Light diffuser covers were also repaired and reinstated to restore a clean and uniform finish.
By the time the store opened, both toilet areas were fully restored with no impact on daily operations.
This small but important reactive maintenance intervention ensured the space remained compliant, professional, and aligned with the standards expected within a luxury retail environment.
